San Diego, Calif. - University of Louisville senior men's golfer capped off a solid performance by finishing in a tie for 69th place at the US Open Golf Championships at Torrey Pines in San Diego, Calif. on Sunday.

The senior from Jensen Beach, Fla., shot 73-73-78-75=299 during the four-day tournament and was one of three amateurs to make the cut at the major championship.

He was 15-over par for the tournament, but make the cut by being just 4-over par after the first two rounds.
